New Glarus Brewing Holds Ground as Craft Beer Industry Shifts

New Glarus Brewing Company remains one of the largest craft breweries in the United States, even as new data shows a slight shift in its national ranking. According to the Brewers Association’s annual report published Tuesday, the New Glarus-based brewery moved from No. 12 to No. 13 on the Top 50 U.S. craft brewing companies list when comparing 2024 and 2025 production.

The change reflects a highly competitive upper tier of the craft beer industry rather than a sharp decline in performance for the Wisconsin brewery, which continues to rank No. 23 overall among all U.S. brewing companies.
