New Glarus Floral Clock to Get Brand New Look
The Village Board approved a redesign intended to preserve the landmark’s Swiss identity while reducing the seasonal planting and maintenance required each year.
The New Glarus Floral Clock will be redesigned after the Village Board approved changes Wednesday night intended to make the landmark easier and less expensive to maintain while preserving its Swiss character.
The new design will move the village landmark away from a display built largely around seasonal flowers and toward a more permanent landscape using decorative stone, hardscape edging, lighting and accent plantings.
