The New Glarus Glarner Knights boys golf team closed the Capitol Conference season Tuesday at The Oaks Golf Course, finishing seventh at the Capitol Conference Tournament with a team score of 362.

Cambridge won the tournament with a 324 and also finished as the conference’s regular-season champion.

It was an uneven day for New Glarus, with each golfer hitting a difficult stretch at some point in the round. Still, the Glarner Knights were able to recover enough to grind out pars and keep the round moving.
