The New Glarus Glarner Knights saved one of their best conference performances for their final Capitol Conference mini meet, shooting a 168 on their home course at Edelweiss Country Club and finishing fifth in a tough, low-scoring field.

New Glarus entered the closing stretch tied for seventh and would have lost the tiebreaker, but Isaac Ingwell delivered when the Glarner Knights needed it most. Ingwell birdied his final hole, No. 3, to push New Glarus into fifth place and cap the team’s best nine-hole conference score of the season relative to par.
