A New Glarus native and 1994 graduate of New Glarus High School is now part of the public conversation surrounding one of the highest-profile jobs in Wisconsin sports.

Wisconsin State Journal columnist Jim Polzin wrote Tuesday, April 21, that Garrett Klassy is among 12 potential candidates to become the next athletic director at the University of Wisconsin.
