New Glarus’ Owen Palmer Earns Prestigious American FFA Degree

INDIANAPOLIS – Owen Palmer, a standout member of the New Glarus FFA Chapter, has earned one of the highest honors awarded to FFA members nationwide — the American FFA Degree. He received the distinction during the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo on Saturday in Indianapolis.

The award is reserved for less than one percent of all FFA members and recognizes individuals who have shown exceptional dedication, leadership, and achievement in agricultural education. Palmer’s honor reflects years of commitment both in and outside the classroom, including hands-on agricultural experience, community service, and leadership development.
