New Glarus Rallies Past Johnson Creek 7-5
The Glarner Knights erased an early deficit with a four-run fourth inning Wednesday night at Johnson Creek, then held off a late rally behind Liam Crawford’s steady outing and strong defensive play.
JOHNSON CREEK, Wis. – The New Glarus Glarner Knights overcame an early two-run deficit and delivered another gritty road win Wednesday night, defeating Johnson Creek Bluejays 7-5 in a nonconference baseball matchup at Johnson Creek.
Johnson Creek struck first in the opening inning when Wagner launched a two-run home run to center field for a quick 2-0 lead. The Bluejays added another run in the third on a sacrifice fly by Broich to move ahead 3-0.
