New Glarus School Board Approves Meal Price Increase

The New Glarus School Board approved a 10-cent increase in breakfast and lunch prices Monday as part of its review of the district’s 2026-27 food service budget.

Board members said the increase is intended to help balance rising food costs while limiting the effect on families. The board approved the increase 7-0.

The board also approved the 2026-27 fee schedule, with the only changes tied to breakfast and lunch prices.
