New Glarus Students Selected for WSMA State Honors
Six New Glarus middle and high school students were selected for WSMA State Honors music ensembles, one of Wisconsin’s top achievements for young student musicians.
Six New Glarus middle and high school students have been selected for the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) State Honors Music Project.
The recognition is considered one of the highest achievements for young musicians in Wisconsin, with students from across the state auditioning for spots in State Honors ensembles.
The New Glarus students selected for 2026 are Nala Williams, flute, WSMA State Honors Band; Sophie Smith, alto, WSMA State Honors Treble Choir; Adayla Babler, flute, WSMA Middle Level State Honors Band; Sadie Mitchell, saxophone, WSMA Middle Level State Honors Band; Anneliese Ramirez, oboe, WSMA Middle Level State Honors Orchestra; and Amelie Miller, bassoon, WSMA Middle Level State Honors Orchestra.
