New Glarus Students Take the Stage at State Music Festival

New Glarus middle and high school musicians were among the students from across Wisconsin who performed Saturday, April 25, at the Wisconsin School Music Association State Solo & Ensemble Festival hosted by UW-Platteville.

The state festival brings together students who advanced from local or regional Solo & Ensemble events, giving young musicians a chance to perform before adjudicators, receive feedback and represent their schools at one of the highest levels of school music competition in Wisconsin. The UW-Platteville program described the event as a full-day festival with performances scheduled across multiple campus sites, including vocal, instrumental, piano, percussion, jazz, music theater and ensemble categories.
