New Glarus to Celebrate Dog Park Grand Opening Nov. 8
A new dog park behind Glarner Lodge will open with a ribbon cutting, free food, and a free preview weekend for residents and their pets.
The community’s four-legged friends are getting a new place to play. The New Glarus Dog Park will officially open Saturday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony behind Glarner Lodge at 900 Glarner Drive.
The celebration will include free hot dogs and chili dogs for attendees, along with an opportunity for two people to win a free annual dog pass paid for by New Glarus Cares. Also, that Saturday and Sunday will be a free preview weekend where everyone will have free access to use the dog park.
