New Glarus Town Board to Review Election Equipment
Election equipment, shipping-container rules, EMS, cameras for the new Town Garage and road line painting are among the items the Town of New Glarus Board will consider when it meets Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. at its new Town Garage.
The Town of New Glarus Board will take up a varied agenda Wednesday, Sept. 9, including a presentation on election equipment and possible action on purchasing or installment options. The 6 p.m. meeting will be held at the Town Garage, N8799 Hayes Lane.
Election equipment is among the first major items on the agenda. Arianna Voegeli is scheduled to give a presentation, followed by discussion and possible action by the board on purchasing the equipment outright or through installments.
Town officials will also consider a possible amendment to the town’s ordinance governing shipping containers. Other Town Garage-related business includes approval of a pressure washer for the shop and possible action on cameras for the new facility.
Road work will return to the agenda as the board considers soliciting bids for line painting on Old Madison Road and Durst Road. The board is also scheduled to consider purchasing procedures for the town.
