New elevation drawings and a 3D rendering submitted to the Village of New Glarus now show what the proposed second phase of Prairie Haus Apartments could look like on Elmer Road. The updated materials give residents a clearer view of the proposed 50-unit, three-story apartment building planned for land adjacent to the existing Prairie Haus building.

The proposal from Wisconsin Housing Preservation Corp. calls for a 55-and-older apartment building with a mix of market-rate and affordable housing, underground parking and independent senior living units. The new drawings were submitted to the village for review after updates to the early design.
