Swiss UCC to Host Active Shooter Response Training
A free CRASE training presented by the Green County Sheriff’s Office will give adults practical strategies for responding to active shooter events and improving workplace safety Sept. 21 at Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus.
Swiss United Church of Christ will host a free Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events training for adults at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, in the church’s fellowship hall at 18 Fifth Ave. in New Glarus.
Presented by the Green County Sheriff’s Office, the CRASE program will use real-life video examples and case studies to help participants understand how to respond during an active shooter event.
The session will also address safety strategies and prevention planning for local businesses, along with practical steps individuals can take to make themselves and their workplaces safer.
The fellowship hall is accessible through the church’s north entrance. The program is open to all adults, and advance registration is not required.
