Village Board Agenda Puts Streetscape, Assessments in Focus

The Village Board of New Glarus is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Village Hall, with an agenda that includes action on downtown infrastructure, public works bids, a food truck permit and a proposed change to the village’s alcohol ordinance. The meeting will be held in the board room at 319 Second St. and will also be available via Zoom.

Among the most notable items for New Glarus residents will be discussion and possible action on downtown streetscape bid approval, a petition and resolution tied to curb and gutter replacement at 300 Third Ave., and an ordinance amendment involving public consumption and open containers of alcohol. Trustees are also expected to review bids for police squad cameras and a roof replacement at the public works shop.
