The New Glarus Glarner Knights let a five-run lead slip away in a 13-7 loss to Wisconsin Heights on Tuesday, a game that began under clear skies and comfortable spring conditions after a stretch of weather-related cancellations.
New Glarus came out sharp, taking an early 1-0 lead in the first inning when Braden Rear drew a bases-loaded walk. Wisconsin Heights answered with a sacrifice fly in the bottom half, tying the game at 1-1.
