Green County Board to Weigh Highway Facility Plan
The June 9 agenda includes possible action on a long-term highway facility site, major borrowing resolutions and a state grant for 911 mapping work.
MONROE, Wis. — The Green County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Green County Courthouse, with a long-term highway facility plan leading the agenda.
Supervisors are expected to hear a presentation from Kraemer Brothers on the county’s long-term highway facilities plan, followed by discussion and possible action on site selection for the project.
The board also will consider an initial resolution authorizing up to $49.265 million in general obligation promissory notes for a highway facility project and other highway projects.
A related borrowing resolution on the agenda lists two possible versions, one setting parameters for the sale of up to $59.73 million in general obligation promissory notes and another setting parameters for up to $37.91 million.
