Hometown Pharmacy to Downsize in Move to Highway 69 Storefront
Hometown Pharmacy plans to move from 1103 Highway 69 to the former Quality Cellular storefront at 1305 Highway 69, downsizing in the process and creating a new vacancy next to the Bank of New Glarus, which owns both existing properties.
Hometown Pharmacy is preparing to move to the former Quality Cellular storefront at 1305 Highway 69 in New Glarus, bringing a new tenant to the Swiss Valley Centre while giving the pharmacy a smaller retail footprint.
The pharmacy also plans to begin a moving sale Sept. 8. An exact moving date and opening date for the new location have not yet been announced.
New Glarus 360 previously reported that the 1,600-square-foot former Quality Cellular suite had been leased to a local tenant, although the leasing agent declined at the time to identify the business or disclose its plans. Hometown Pharmacy’s announcement now answers that question.
The new location will give Hometown Pharmacy a smaller, more efficient footprint while keeping the business along Highway 69, with a prominent and easily accessible location for customers. The 1,600-square-foot suite at 1305 Highway 69 includes an open front retail area, rear storage space, three offices and a bathroom, with the rear portion capable of being incorporated into additional retail space.
