The New Glarus Athletic Department announced today that an exceptionally large contingent of Glarner Knights football players and coaches have been recognized by the Southwest Wisconsin Conference for their outstanding performances this season. The impressive list of honorees is a testament to the team’s consistent excellence, discipline, and the high level of coaching that has helped shape this year’s success.

Six players earned First Team All-Conference honors, including Luke Burton and Dylan Colstad on the defensive line, William Glotfelty on the offensive line, Ashlin Mihlbauer at both kicker and inside linebacker, Will Pinnow at wide receiver and defensive back, and Brent “Bubba” Weeden at defensive end. Burton also took home one of the conference’s top individual honors, being named Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY).
