New Glarus Candidate Forum Set for State Senate Primary
District 17 voters can hear from three Democratic candidates June 10 during a public forum hosted by the Alpine Reading Club in New Glarus.
District 17 voters will have a chance to hear directly from three Democratic candidates for state Senate during a public forum Wednesday, June 10, in the New Glarus High School Auditorium.
The forum, scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m., will feature candidates Corrine Hendrickson, Jenna Jacobson and Lisa White. The event is hosted by the Alpine Reading Club of New Glarus and will be moderated by Sam Rikkers.
The candidates are seeking the Democratic nomination in the Aug. 11 primary election. The winner of that primary will face incumbent Republican state Sen. Howard Marklein in the November election.
