New Glarus Golfers Finishes Fourth in Home Golf Meet

The Glarner Knights turned in a steady team performance Monday at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club, placing fourth in Capitol Conference Meet No. 2 as Isaac Ingwell led New Glarus on its home course.

The New Glarus Glarner Knights hosted Capitol Conference Meet No. 2 on Monday evening at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club and finished fourth out of nine teams with a team gross score of 171 on the par-36 front nine. Cambridge won the meet at 157, followed by Lodi at 159 and Columbus/Fall River at 166.

New Glarus stayed in the middle of a tightly packed field and got balanced scoring throughout the lineup, with all five golfers contributing to a competitive finish on the Knights’ home course.
