New Glarus Library Sets Ribbon Cutting
The June 4 ceremony will celebrate the new public library with a community book pass, artwork displays and tours of the new facility.
New Glarus community members are invited to celebrate the opening of the new New Glarus Public Library with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at the new library, 26 5th Ave.
Before the ceremony, residents are invited to take part in a ceremonial book pass beginning at 4 p.m. Participants will meet at the Village Park gazebo for instructions before forming a human chain to help move books from the former library to the new building.
Parking will be available on nearby streets and in the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce parking lot.
