Sugar River made the most of a sunny afternoon Saturday, rolling to a 2-0 non-conference girls soccer win over Milton after the two programs welcomed TOPSoccer athletes for a joint session before the varsity match. TOPSoccer, short for The Outreach Program for Soccer, is a U.S. Youth Soccer initiative that gives athletes with physical, intellectual or emotional disabilities the opportunity to play in an inclusive, supportive environment.
