TOWN OF PRIMROSE, Wis. — The Town of Primrose Board of Supervisors could take action Monday on emergency medical services, service agreements and related matters when it meets at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 8468 County Highway A. The agenda does not identify a specific EMS provider, agreement or proposed action.
The discussion comes less than a week after the Town of York voted Tuesday to end its agreement with New Glarus Area EMS, adding considerable significance to what otherwise is a broadly worded Primrose agenda item.
EMS is one of several matters on which supervisors could take action Monday. In a separate agenda item, the board will consider adoption of the 2027 Mount Horeb Fire Department budget.
The town’s August treasurer’s report shows $170,541.14 in expenses, with road work accounting for most of the spending. A $109,844.40 payment to Scott Construction covered paving, shoulder work and Ridge Drive wedging, while another $12,627.23 represented the town’s portion of engineering costs for the Lewis Road bridge. The town transferred $175,000 from its investment account to checking during the month.
