Two-Vehicle Crash on County A Draws UW Med Flight

TOWN OF PRIMROSE, Wis. — Emergency crews responded Saturday morning to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Highway A and County Highway U in the Town of Primrose, prompting an extrication effort and a response from UW Med Flight.

Radio traffic from the scene indicated two vehicles were involved, with one vehicle traveling off the roadway and coming to rest in a ditch. A first responder arriving at the crash reported one person from that vehicle was already out and walking around.

Responders ultimately reported two patients. One was a man who was up, walking and talking but had a laceration to his head and needed to be evaluated by emergency medical personnel.

The second patient, a woman, remained in a vehicle and required extrication. Early radio traffic described neck and back pain along with bleeding from the head and wrist. As crews continued treating her, responders later reported injuries on her left side, bruising developing around both eyes.
