Two Town of New Glarus Meetings Set for Wednesday

The Town of New Glarus will hold two back-to-back meetings Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the new town garage, beginning with a 5:30 p.m. public hearing on a proposed land division and followed by the regular Town Board meeting at 6 p.m.

Both meetings will be held at the New Glarus Town Garage, N8799 Hayes Lane. The regular Town Board agenda was revised and posted Monday, Aug. 10.

The first meeting will focus on an application from the Halvorsen J. Donald and Susan Revocable Trust to divide one non-residential lot for non-residential use along W6897 Farmers Grove Road.

The applicant or an agent will be allowed up to 15 minutes to explain the proposal during the public hearing. Members of the public may then speak for up to five minutes each. After the hearing is adjourned, discussion will be limited to Town Board members.
