Green County Sheriff’s Report: September 30–October 6

Green County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported three injury crashes, three OWI arrests (two of them following crashes), a rear-end crash and a warrant arrest during the reporting period. The following information comes from Green County Sheriff’s Office news releases, with the incident language kept as published and organized by date, with the most recent incidents listed first.

A Green County Sheriff’s Office release dated Sept. 28 was added to the county’s website after last week’s report was compiled, so it did not appear in that edition. The release describes a Sept. 27 one-vehicle crash on County Highway B in the Town of Cadiz, in which Darcy L. Williams, 70, of Browntown, was not wearing a seatbelt when the vehicle overturned and was taken to the hospital. The full release is included below under September 27, 2026.

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
