Highway 69 Closed, Detour Begins
Highway 69 closed to through traffic at midnight as the project enters its next major phase, with local access only, County F closing at Highway 69 and culvert, bridge and roundabout work beginning this week.
Highway 69 closed to through traffic Sunday at midnight marking the start of the detour phase for the construction project between Monroe and New Glarus.
The posted detour will send through traffic onto Highway 11 at Monroe, Highway 81 to Argyle, Highway 78 to Blanchardville and Highway 39 to New Glarus. Local access only will be maintained on Highway 69.
County F at the Highway 69 intersection is also scheduled to close to through traffic Sunday night or Monday morning.
County C/Urban Road, which has been closed since June 1, remains closed and is expected to stay closed until late August.
