Highway 69 Work Shifts to Guardrails, Markings

Highway 69 remains open to traffic, but drivers should expect more daytime flagging delays between Monticello and New Glarus during the week of Oct. 5.

According to Jim Grender, P.E., of CGC, Inc., crews are expected to work on guardrail and pavement marking placement between Monticello and New Glarus next week.

That work will be done using flagging operations once again, meaning traffic will remain open but may be reduced to one direction at a time through active work areas.

Drivers should expect delays throughout the working day. The work is weather dependent and subject to adjustment.
