New Glarus School Board Approves Mental Health Program, More
Board members unanimously approved a new student wellness initiative Monday night while hearing updates on academic performance, student connections and future curriculum plans at New Glarus Middle School.
The New Glarus School Board unanimously approved all items on its agenda Monday evening, including a new student mental health initiative aimed at preventing crises before they occur and a series of updates focused on student success and school improvement.
Much of the meeting centered on a presentation from New Glarus Middle School administrators and teachers, who highlighted academic performance, efforts to strengthen student relationships and plans for the future.
Middle School Principal Jeff Eichelkraut and members of the school's Leadership and Sustainability Team outlined the work that has taken place throughout the year to improve both academic outcomes and student well-being.
