New Glarus School Board to Review Meal Prices

The Board of Education for the New Glarus School District will meet Monday, May 18, with proposed meal prices, student fees, staffing updates and a possible 2028 student trip to Europe among the items on the agenda.

The regular meeting is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. in the High School Library/Media Center, Room 183, at 1701 Second St. A Zoom option is also included in the district’s meeting notice.

One of the larger items before the board is the district’s proposed 2026-27 food service budget. The budget from Taher Inc., the district’s food service provider, was prepared with a 10-cent increase on all meals, according to the meeting packet.
