Ott Haus Owners Announce Closing, New Owners Plan Mid-July Reopening
Current owners say June 27 will be their final day operating the longtime downtown New Glarus bar and restaurant, with new ownership expected to continue the business after a brief transition.
The owners of Ott Haus Pub & Grill announced Tuesday on Facebook that Saturday, June 27, will be their final day operating the downtown New Glarus establishment.
In a social media post, the owners thanked customers, employees and supporters for years of patronage and said they plan to serve customers through their final week in business. The post also revealed that new owners are preparing to take over the business and are targeting a mid-July reopening.
“The new owners are looking forward to continuing the traditions that make Ott Haus special while bringing their own energy and ideas to the future of the business,” the post stated.
