T-Mobile Responds to Quality Cellular Closure in New Glarus
T-Mobile says New Glarus customers can still receive in-person support at its McKee Road store in Fitchburg, while online and app options remain available following the sudden closure of the local Quality Cellular location.
T-Mobile has responded to questions from New Glarus 360 about the closure of the Quality Cellular location in New Glarus, saying customers can continue to get support in person, online or through the company’s T-Life app.
Quality Cellular, a longtime UScellular and T-Mobile authorized retailer at 1305 Highway 69, closed Monday, June 8. The closure came after months of uncertainty following T-Mobile’s acquisition of UScellular’s wireless operations and after earlier assurances that local customers would continue to have access to support during the transition.
Katie Frey, senior communications manager for T-Mobile, from the company’s regional office in Illinois, provided the following statement:
