Town of York electors will be asked Oct. 22 to authorize the Town Board to purchase the property at N8131 Postville Road, directly north of the town hall parcel in Green County.
The special town elector meeting begins at 7 p.m. at York Town Hall, N8105 Postville Road, Blanchardville. Under the meeting notice, qualified town electors must be present to vote. If electors authorize the purchase, the Town Board is scheduled to meet immediately afterward to consider approving it.
The property is owned by Seidler Properties LLC. Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions records list Ryan Seidler, N8131 Postville Road, as the company’s registered agent. Property records classify the 1.34-acre parcel as commercial, with an assessed land value of $57,200 and improvements valued at $189,600, for a total assessed value of $246,800.
The town’s notice identifies N8131 Postville Road as the property under consideration. It does not state whether a separate adjacent 0.16-acre lot would be included in any purchase, and no purchase price is listed in the notice.
