Town Board Tables Special Meeting Agenda Items
Some residents raised concerns about the timing of the special meeting and agenda during Wednesday’s special Town of New Glarus Board meeting, where most items were tabled and only seamless gutters and concrete work tied to the new town garage moved forward.
The Town of New Glarus Board tabled most of the items on its special meeting agenda Wednesday, July 1, after approximately six people attended and expressed their displeasure with both the timing of the meeting and its agenda items.
The meeting was held at 1 p.m. at the new Town of New Glarus garage, N8799 Hayes Lane. Building inspector Scott Jelle was out of town and unable to attend.
The agenda included several items tied to the new town garage, including site work changes, a potential storm sewer, a gravel road around the back of the building, a truck chassis quote, seamless gutters, additional concrete pads, the purchase of a pressure washer and locked doors in the closet area of the shop.
