Some members of the New Glarus Town Board will gather Friday afternoon at the new Town Garage for an initial discussion of the 2027 budget with the town’s accountant from Johnson Block. No action will be taken and no public comment is planned.

Town Board to Begin 2027 Budget Discussion Friday

The New Glarus Town Board has posted a notice of quorum for 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at the new Town Garage, N8799 Hayes Lane.

According to the notice, a quorum of the board may be present as town officials begin initial discussions about the 2027 budget with the town’s accountant from Johnson Block.

The gathering is for discussion only. The notice specifically states that the Town Board will take no action during the meeting.

There will also be no public comment. Residents with questions are directed to contact the town clerk by email. The notice was posted Thursday, Sept. 17.
