Town Board to Review Garage Work, Polling Place Resolution
The Town of New Glarus Board will meet July 1 at the New Town Garage to consider a polling place resolution, site work changes, a truck chassis quote and several additional items tied to the new town garage project and related shop needs.
The Town of New Glarus Board will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at the New Town Garage, N8799 Hayes Lane.
The agenda includes possible action on a polling place resolution, along with several items connected to the new town garage and shop. The meeting notice states that any specific subject on the agenda may be acted upon by the board.
Among the larger items is discussion and possible approval of site work changes at the New Town Garage. Those changes could include additional curb, a potential storm sewer and a gravel road around the back of the building.
The board is also scheduled to discuss and possibly act on a quote for a new truck chassis. The agenda does not identify the vendor, cost or type of truck chassis under consideration.
