Town Board to Revisit Speed Limits, Garage Items
The Town of New Glarus Board will meet July 8 to revisit township road speed limits, garage-related change orders, future equipment needs, shipping container rules, the Disch Road project and other local government business items.
The Town of New Glarus Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the New NG Town Garage, N8799 Hayes Lane, with a full agenda that includes road issues, town garage-related items, ordinance changes and appointments.
The meeting comes one week after a July 1 special meeting where several agenda items were tabled. Some of those topics and others from past meetings are expected to return Wednesday, including speed limits on township roads, building permit requirements and several items connected to the new town garage.
Board members are scheduled to approve minutes from the June 10 and July 1 meetings before taking public comment and hearing the patrolman report.
The agenda states that the board may discuss and possibly take action on township road speed limits, including how many signs would be needed. The board is also scheduled to hear a building inspector report on permit requirements.
