Town of New Glarus Officially Moves Town Hall to Hayes Lane

The Town of New Glarus has moved its offices, meetings and election operations to the town garage at N8799 Hayes Lane. The clerk’s office is now open there from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, beginning with absentee voting July 28.

Town of New Glarus Officially Moves Town Hall to Hayes Lane

The Town of New Glarus has officially moved its town hall operations from downtown New Glarus to the town garage west of new Glarus at N8799 Hayes Lane.

Town Clerk-Treasurer Darla Kramer said all future Town Board meetings, elections and other town business will be conducted at the Hayes Lane location. The clerk’s office will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The move was approved during the Town Board’s June meeting and was completed in time for the beginning of in-person absentee voting Tuesday, July 28. Residents voting absentee in person should now visit the new town hall rather than the town’s former office at 501 First St. in downtown New Glarus.
