Town of York Board to Meet Thursday

Fire department funding, recycling services, a land division fee schedule and a potential property purchase are among the items facing the Town of York Board when it meets Thursday evening.

Town of York Board to Meet Thursday

POSTVILLE, Wis. — The Town of York Board will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Town Hall, N8105 Postville Road, with several property, public service and financial matters on the agenda.

The board is scheduled to receive an update from Ron Erickson regarding the New Glarus Fire Department budget. Town officials will also discuss staffing and service options for the town’s garbage and recycling center.

Other business includes consideration of a driveway permit application for Jacob Schaefer and a certified survey map for Nate Hanke. The board is also expected to discuss and possibly take action on a draft fee schedule associated with the town’s Land Division Ordinance.
