The New Glarus School Board will meet Monday, June 22, with several items on the agenda that could affect students and families throughout the district, including a proposal to add the new public library as an official school bus stop and a pilot program designed to help middle school students develop organizational and life skills.
The meeting will begin with a transportation department presentation and a visit to the district's bus shelter before board members move into regular business and discussion items.
One of the most locally significant topics on the agenda is a proposal to add the new New Glarus Public Library location to the district's Unusually Hazardous Transportation (UHT) plan for the 2026-27 school year.
